God has always been interested in children. From the time of Abraham and Moses God was interested in parents and the believing community passing on the faith. Every event that transpired God wanted its spiritual significance captured and passed on to the next generations. If the Lord was to be known throughout the ages then each generation would need to be faithful to pass on the faith.
At Camelback we take that responsibility seriously. We want to see this and every generation grow up to know the Lord Jesus, to walk with Him, and to be His representative in our world. We want every child to find life in Christ – to be made new in Him.
We recognize that to fulfill this great trust we will need an army of parents and other volunteers who are well equipped to work with children –who know the gospel, who know children, and who are skilled to connect the two.
That’s what this website is all about! Through it we seek to provide parents and volunteers with the resources and information that will help them “extend the love of Jesus to every child for the renewal of all things”.
So please take some time to become familiar with the site. If you find there are resources not available that you wish were there, please let me know. I am dedicated to making you successful in this role because I believe our work is near to the heart of the Lord who drew the little ones to Himself.
